Event Details
After a triumphant run in Lourdes, France, with more than 150,000 people attending the musical stage production, BERNADETTE DE LOURDES is setting sails to cross the Atlantic.
The show tells the story of the Marian apparitions to young Bernadette Soubirous. Based on the official minutes of interrogations of the young girl, the show authentically portrays the story of Bernadette, her encounters with Commissioner Jacomet, Father Peyramale, Prosecutor Dutour... Her calm and humble fight to defend her story to skeptical adults and her troubled family.
Bernadette is a poor illiterate teenager who stood against authorities to defend the Truth. She eventually won and literally changed the world around her, turning the small village of Lourdes into one of the largest pilgrimage destinations in the world. The story of Bernadette, testifying for the truth with courage, is very relevant to our times.
BERNADETTE DE LOURDES, has been universally praised by the public and media. "Broadway at the foot of the Pyrenees" (Europe 1), "A melodic miracle" (Le Monde), "A grandiose musical spectacle" (Le Figaro Magazine)
Join us for a private screening of the taped live performance, with English subtitles, on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023, at 3:00 PM, at the Sheen Center.
