Encontros (Im)possiveis - A Brazilian production with Renato Prieto

Encontros (Im)possiveis  is a spiritualist spectacle of drama and technology. Renowned Brazilian actor Renato Prieto plays a journalist who is visited by a variety of historical figures and personalities whom he is always wanted to interview.

Sigmund Freud, Carmen Miranda, Mahatma Gandhi, Marilyn Monroe, Chico Xavier, Judy Garland, Martin Luther King, Frank Sinatra and Mother Teresa provoke him to question his own life and choices while their entertaining dialogue dramatizes the challenges of living in the world today.

The production is contemporary in form and content, with bold technological designs. The writer and director employ cinema techniques to add a second layer to the fiction, mingling both narrative and poetic elements into a sensitive, penetrating theatrical language.

Encontros (Im)possiveis  addresses our questions about human emotions and, with moments of laughter, makes an impact on all of us with the spiritualist awareness that allows for reflection.

Encontros (Im)possiveis  will be presented in Portuguese.
