Sky-Pony is a Brooklyn band that serves up lush, lyrical, often cheeky indie-pop with a healthy dose of theatrics. Renowned for their high-energy multimedia live shows, they've been called "a beautiful mash-up of music, choreography, costumes, projections and drama" by The Village Voice and "tight, fierce, hilarious and out of their minds" by The Wall Street Journal.
The Brooklyn-based band is a collaboration between singer/actress Lauren Worsham (Drama Desk Award winner and Tony Award nominee) and her musician/writer husband Kyle Jarrow (Obie Award winner). It also features the talents of guitarist Kevin Wunderlich, drummer Perry Silver, bassist Eric Day, cellist David Blasher, and backup singers Sharone Sayegh and Kristin Piacentile.
Sky-Pony's debut LP Beautiful Monster dropped December 4, 2015 from Knitting Factory Records. Their stage show The Wildness ran in New York City from February-April 2016 to critical acclaim, garnering a Lortel Award nomination for Outstanding Musical. More info at their website.
