Dan Mills  kicks off The Sheen Center’s new Convergences: Indie Artist Series. Folk singer-songwriter Dan Mills fronts a five-piece band based out of Brooklyn, NY. Mills portrayed country guitar legend Carl Perkins in the Broadway cast of Million Dollar Quarter, and his song "Best I Could" was nominated for Sirius XM Coffeehouse's “Singer/Songwriter Discovery of 2013.”

Dan will be joined by several special guests for this event. Featuring: Van Hughes, a Brooklyn-based actor/singer/musician, has appeared on Broadway in American Idiot, 9 to 5, Hairspray, and most recently the revival of Spring Awakening. Vibrant soprano Carami Hilaire, a Belvedere Competition qualifier and a Harlem Opera Finalist. Adam Halpin, an actor who has performed in Broadway's "Glory Days" and "Dogfight" at Second Stage.
